after waiting a day and a half for my files to finish moving i rebooted to windows, moved the files around some more, and reinstalled cachyos only to realize that it couldn't detect the windows installation. so i rebooted back to windows, wiped the drive that contained cachyos to ensure a clean reinstallation but then got annoyed at the efi system partition i only made because chatgpt told me to, so i booted to a live windows usb to move the boot files back to c drive and wiped the esp. but that ended up wiping the windows boot manager so i effectively locked myself out of using my pc because my dumb ass thought i knew what i was doing.
so yeah i guess i'll be using my laptop for the foreseeable future. rn i have a live instance of cachyos running on my pc that i'm using to back up the important stuff on my windows drive before reinstalling windows yet again. i'm probably gonna fuck something up again somehow.
realized i am still allowed to use my pc while it's in the process of moving files. nobody is stopping me i'm just choosing not to for no reason
